On Saturday 14th December 2024, from 10am – 4pm, the five-acre site of the National Horseracing Museum in Newmarket, will open its doors to celebrate the arrival of the festive season.
Christmas at the Museum is designed with the whole family in mind, with plenty for children and adults to get involved with. Returning for the second year, experience the magic of a ride in Santa’s carriage drawn by two, festively dressed, Suffolk Punches as they tour around the museum grounds. Head over to the craft corner and get creative with the resident miniature Shetland ponies, Kizzy and Harry, who celebrate their first Christmas at the Museum.
Join in with the festive games to land a hoop on Rudolph’s antlers, or ‘Whack a Christmas pudding’. There is a raffle to win a LeMieux Pony, complete with saddle and reins. Then relax with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie or two in the pop-up festive café, as carol singing fills the courtyard of the Rothschild Yard.
There is a special admission price of £6 per adult, £4 per child, with under 5’s Free. Ticket price includes access to all outside areas of the Museum and a ride on Santa’s horse and carriage.
Tickets are available to purchase in advance online, or on the day at the Gift Shop.
