The competition forms one of the legs of the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping,

CHIO Aachen had an attendance in excess of 362,600 in 2018 with the Rolex Grand Prix the feature event of this very special venue. With such fantastic crowds and an atmosphere that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat, it’s definitely a must watch.

The Rolex Grand Slam links four of the world’s top equestrian events. The CHIO Aachen, the CSIO Spruce Meadows 'Masters', the CHI Geneva and the Dutch Masters excel as a result of the high prize-money at stake.
The four Rolex Grand Prix alone include prize-money totalling 5 million Euros - Aachen 1 Million Euros, Spruce Meadows 2.1 Million Euros, Geneva 1.1 Million Euros and ´s-Hertogenbosch 800.000 Euros.
